Backstory

Oni-Hime rules as a sovereign figure in the demon realm. When Hikari attempts to use the Book of Whispers on her, the human-control command cannot take hold.

The failure turns domination into negotiation. Oni-Hime’s origin and the hierarchy of her realm remain deliberately unrevealed.
